Eduardo Salvação Barreto Biography After graduating with double Law degree from Exeter University and Rennes University, Eduardo starts his career with Xerox. In 2013, he joins the payments Industry doing International sales at Elavon in London, one of the biggest global acquiring banks. Since 2017 and before being selected to lead HiPay Portugal, Eduardo was at SafeCharge as Head of Travel and Hospitality where he developed and implemented the company’s strategy in those sectors. Today, Eduardo is dedicated to growing and consolidating HiPay as a major payments player in the Iberian Peninsula, raising his two young boys and riding Motorcycles in the beautiful Sintra mountain roads. HiPay is a global payments platform enabling merchants to accept payments safely and securely in more than 150 currencies and through more than 220 payment methods across all channels: online, mobile and instore.
